Athens Bioscience was founded as Athens Research & Technology by local physicians and a professor of biochemistry from the University of Georgia (UGA). As one of the first life science start-ups to emerge from UGA’s business incubator, we set a model for success that inspired many others to follow.

As demand grew, we built lasting partnerships with distributors across Europe, Asia, and North America.
